September 1996, Mr Jean Thomas, Managing Director of the company Immomills
Louis De Waele S.A. announced the provisional acceptance of the Leopold II
apartment blocks involving 96 1 to 5 bedroom apartments over a gross
surface area of 15,000 m².
This building project involves the reconstruction of a triangular island with its boundaries on Léopold II boulevard, the rue du Choeur, the rue de l’Espérance and the Ribaucourt square. The 8 units designed for joint use have been built looking on to the street and form a closed complex built up around a joint central courtyard with a garden. The number of floors within the buildings varies from 3 to 5 depending on the urban planning requirements. The access to and corridors and stairways etc. within each of the units are entirely separate from the others. The sub-levels cover the entire surface of the site. |
